My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, I'm Butterfly, and I am working on becoming a social butterfly. While I might not be the most outgoing kitty, I’m working hard to build my confidence, especially since moving into my foster home.
Unfortunately, I was declawed, which has made me a little more cautious and sensitive, but with a little patience and love, I’m learning to adapt as best as I can. I’ve had some challenges in the past, including trouble with my litter box but with the extra care and support I’ve received here at the shelter and in my foster home, I’m doing much better. Treats are my favorite and are definitely a way to my heart!
If you're willing to help a cat in need of some extra love, I promise I have a lot of love to give in return.
I would love to have a family who will give me plenty of time and patience to get comfortable. I would also appreciate a quiet place where I can feel safe and secure.
I am currently available in a foster home so you can email adoption@berksarl.org to learn more and set up a time to meet me!
