Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bruno! Your New Best Friend is Waiting at Just Paws!
Let’s give a warm welcome to BRUNO, a spirited, loving 2-year-old Cockapoo weighing around 25 lbs! This adorable pup was recently surrendered because his owner couldn’t give him the time he needed, so they made the difficult decision to find Bruno a family who can.
Bruno’s a friendly, cuddly guy with a big heart. He’s great on a leash, loves his walks, and can’t resist a tasty treat or a good chew stick. In his foster home, he enjoys watching the world go by from the window and happily greets visitors, especially if they have treats! Bruno’s also happy to snuggle up on the couch and share some relaxing time with his foster dad.
Bruno's Perfect Home:
Bruno has plenty of energy, and he’s happiest with a secured fenced yard to run around in—a condo or apartment wouldn’t be a good match for him. He would thrive in a home where he won’t be left alone for long stretches since he can get a bit lonely and mischievous. Crates are a no-go for him, but he’s done well with some alone time in his foster home so far. Bruno’s house training is very good!
He’s friendly with respectful children and may do well with a female dog sibling, though he’s never had a canine companion before. He would likely not be a match for a home with cats. Bruno’s coat might not be hypoallergenic, so those with allergies should keep this in mind.
We’re still getting to know Bruno, so stay tuned for more updates as we learn more about this sweet boy!

As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca.
Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country.
Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

Our mission is to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, abused and unloved pets that find themselves alone and frightened in shelters. These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
