My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You are guaranteed to fall in love with Leo. Those eyes! That face! The way he tilts his head when you talk to him! Sweet Leo is a well rounded puppy. He is playful but also likes to snuggle. He is alert, curious, calm, sometimes sassy, and he gets cuter every day.

Leo sleeps through the night in his kennel. He is doing well with his potty training. He has started to alert you when he needs to go out. His favorite toys are tiny squeaky tennis balls and tug-of-war ropes. He enjoys playing with his very large foster sibling dog and has the confidence to do so while also being respectful.

Leo will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
