Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Pumpkin, a 1.5-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix weighing about 10-12 lbs. Pumpkin is a loving, social little girl who gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids-she hopes to become a companion for a family who can provide her with patience and affection as she settles into her new life.
Here's a little more about her:
Energy Level: Medium-she enjoys a good play session but also loves her snuggle time.
Social Nature: Pumpkin is very social with new animals and people but can be timid in unfamiliar surroundings. She's most comfortable at home, where she'll happily curl up with you on the sofa-though she's not quite ready for cuddles yet.
Training: She's potty trained and has good basic manners, though she's still learning leash skills. She loves plushy squeaky toys and is not a chewer.
Separation Anxiety: She does experience some anxiety when left alone and will cry if she doesn't know where you are, so a home where someone is around a lot, works from home or with a secure routine would be ideal.
Crate Training: She's not a fan of being confined but is comfortable in an enclosed space as long as the crate door is open.
Pumpkin may be a bit shy in new situations, but with time and gentle care, she'll blossom into the loving companion you've been looking for! Could you be the one to give Pumpkin the forever home she deserves?

Our humble mission is to fight for the underdogs! We want to make a meaningful impact one animal at a time through dog rescue. At Simple Girl Doggie Haven, our focus is on dogs that may have physical, medical, or other special needs. Disabilities range from blindness, deafness, poor confidence, aggression, and other forms of disability. We are dedicated to giving these animals the best chance of survival by providing lifesaving medical treatment or training. Our goal in many cases is teaching them to trust, so they can experience what it feels to know love and compassion and, ultimately, to find their furever homes. Won't you help us? Please consider donating, fostering, or adopting. You, too, can make a difference in one doggie's life!
