My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sundance, a young feline with an abundance of sweetness and playfulness. She is known for her friendly demeanor that never fails to bring a smile to the faces of the shelter staff. Sundance loves to engage in games of chase, her energy seemingly boundless. Yet, she also knows when it's time to wind down, curling up in a cozy corner for a peaceful nap. Her gentle purrs are a soothing melody, a testament to her contentment. Sundance's spirit is captivating, her personality endearing. She promises to bring a ray of sunshine into any home, her joyful antics a source of endless entertainment. The joy she imparts is a gift she freely gives, asking only for love in return. If you're looking for a companion who will fill your days with happiness, consider welcoming Sundance into your life. Her love, once given, is a treasure beyond measure.

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
