Meet Bookman, the definition of a gentle giant! This sweet, loving boy has a calm, nurturing spirit and is wonderful with other dogs. He shares his kennel with his best friend, Bess, who's a little shy, and he helps her every step of the way. When it was time to head outside, Bookman guided Bess out like a pro, showing her the ropes with such patience and kindness. After a quick bathroom break, it was playtime! Bookman and Bess ran, wrestled, and chased each other, enjoying every second in the yard.

When it was time to head back in, Bookman was again her loyal companion, making sure she felt confident and supported. This amazing boy has the heart of a true family dog and will likely be a loyal, loving companion. Bookman is ready to bring his gentle, comforting presence into a forever home!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.

All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.

Monday - Friday: 1:00 - 6:00 pm
