**Meet Nanook**

Breed: Husky Mix

**Background**
Nanook’s journey began when he was rescued from a tough situation, but that didn’t stop this brave boy from shining! After facing challenges like a gunshot wound and a broken leg from being hit by a car, he’s bounced back like a champ! Now, he’s ready to find a loving family to call his own.

**Personality**
Nanook is the ultimate sweetheart—gentle and playful! He’s like a warm, furry hug with a wagging tail. Always eager to please, he’s the kind of dog who wants to make his humans and foster siblings happy. He has never met a person he didn’t adore! Nanook communicates with a cute howl but is not a noisy dog. As the comfort crew for other transport fosters, he loves jumping up on the gate and dropping his toys for everyone to enjoy. He’s adjusted to being part of a pack like a pro, proving that sharing is caring!

Despite his tough past, Nanook has an endless supply of love to give. He’s friendly with everyone he meets and has a special knack for making new friends—both human and canine! He’s all about cuddles and will happily curl up next to you, ready to be your loyal companion.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• 21 years of age • Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides medical care, including vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter for all our adoptable pets. With years of experience, our goal is to find the perfect fit for each dog as well as the best pet for your family.
