My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hermes, a sweet and snuggly senior mix with a heart full of love to give! At just 9 years young, Hermes may be small in size, but his personality is as big as his heart. This adorable little guy thrives on human connection and finds comfort in touch, whether it's a gentle pet or a cozy cuddle session. He's looking for a calm, relaxed and loving home where he can enjoy his golden years with plenty of affection and attention.

Hermes gets along well with other dogs and is perfectly content sharing his space with cats too! He's low-maintenance, easygoing, and just wants to be near the people he loves. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, taking a stroll around the neighborhood, or just enjoying some quiet time at home, Hermes will be your loyal companion every step of the way. He would love a stroller ride. Herme is older so he does nap a lot. He is the best dog you will meet. He prefers a home without high energy dogs who run into him.

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle, and easy-to-love little guy who just wants to be by your side or on the couch, Hermes could be the perfect match for you! He's ready to give you all the love and companionship you've been looking for in a furry friend!

Hermes is taking a supplement for his sluggish gallbladder and his liver will need monitored but he is doing great right now. Hermes is going to be hard for his foster to give up as she thinks he is the best but we know there is someone else out there who is needing him. He looks at you with human eyes and he loves hard.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
