Naomi is a 9 month old black lab mix pup. She originally lived outside in a farm until a foster family took her in, and then she made the trip north from Arkansas to Minnesota in hopes of finding her forever family!
Naomi gets along with everyone. She is a young, playful, goofy girl. She loves bones and treats of all kinds. She has a long, lean body and is very athletic. She would make a fantastic running buddy.
Naomi is potty trained, however, she will not go to the bathroom while on a leash. She needs an area outside where she can go to the bathroom off leash. Naomi sleeps in a crate at night, but is given free roam in the house during the day. If her foster family has to leave for a couple of hours, she does get a little upset to be left alone. She will bark at first, but eventually settles down and sleeps. She has not been destructive at all when left alone - just a little loud! Apartment living is probably not the best situation for her right now due to this. Naomi also seems to be calmer with other dogs around, so a home with another dog would be ideal, but not necessary. She loves to play and wrestle with her foster dog brother!
Naomi has a lot of love to give. She will be a fantastic companion and would thrive with someone who can give her a consistent routine and is interested in training. If you think Naomi would be a good match for you, please come meet her!

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
