Meet Lacie, a shy sweetheart looking for a patient, understanding forever family. She is a 4 yr. old Poodle/Cavalier/Maltese mix and weighs 12 lbs. Lacie is a breeder release, so she still learning to seek out attention. She loves to follow you around and be near you, but she is skittish when you reach out to her. She would do well with another confident dog to teach her how to do dog things. Given a little time and patience, Lacie will become a wonderful family dog.
Lacie does ok on a leash, but she is a flight risk, so a secure fence would best for her. She is doing well with house training and kennel training. Good with dogs, probably with cats, since she has a gentle nature, good with kids.

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
