Meet Chrissy, a shy kitten who needs a gentle, slow approach and low-pressure interactions. She's required to live with another kitten or young cat to help her feel more comfortable. Due to her fearfulness, Chrissy should be in a dog-free home and will have an in-person behavior consult to help you understand her needs in a home. A steady routine, high-value treats, and interactive play will help her blossom into a loving companion!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
