My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jenga - a 3-year-old cat who's as lovable as she is playful! Named after the classic game, Jenga is a sweet, snuggly girl who has overcome a bit of a rocky start. When she first came to us, Jenga had some teeth issues, but after a couple of extractions, she's feeling great and is now happy, healthy, and ready to find her forever home!

Jenga is the kind of cat who loves to snuggle and will happily curl up in your lap for hours of purring and companionship. She's also a vocal girl - not in a loud way, but with the perfect amount of meows to keep you company and let you know what's on her mind. She's got a sweet, quirky habit of making biscuits (kneading with her paws) and even sucking on your shirt when she's really feeling cozy.

If you're looking for a cat who will adore you, keep you company, and shower you with love, Jenga could be the perfect addition to your family. She's got the best personality, and with her soft purrs and sweet snuggles, she's sure to steal your heart in no time. Come meet Jenga and let her show you just how wonderful life can be with a little extra love from this sweet girl!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
