Meet Petri - The Happiest Girl You'll Ever Meet!

Hey there! I'm Petri, and I'm here to bring a little sunshine into your life. I'm an 8-month-old bundle of joy, full of energy, love, and happiness! In fact, I'm so happy, I'm a "hap, hap, happy girl, I'm a happy happy happy girl! (Seriously, just ask anyone around me-I'm always wagging my tail and spreading good vibes!).

I love to play, play, PLAY! Whether it's chasing toys, running around the yard, or getting some snuggles in, I'm always up for fun. I'm just looking for someone to share my energy and love with. I get along great with everyone, 4 or 2 legged, so if you've got a family or looking for a companion, I'm ready!

I'm also house-trained, so no worries there-I know how to keep my space clean. I'm really looking for a home where I can be the center of attention (though I promise I'm not selfish-I'll share the love with everyone around me!).

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
