Why this pet is the one for you:
This handsome lady, Myrtle, has changed a lot since being with us. She arrived nervous (who wouldn't be in the situation?) and spent several days being cautious and shy. She has bonded with her main staff person. She is so excited to see "her" staff person and she is so good as staff person leashes her up for a walk or to go to the play yard. Myrtle loves the play yard where she would like to play non-stop fetch if someone would keep throwing the ball. She gets the zoomies in the play yard which are funny to watch and do not last long. Myrtle will need a dog savvy new person who understands positive reinforcement training techniques to finish the progress that Myrtle has made. Myrtle still needs to learn consistent house training and more basic commands before she gets her gold star for being a good dog. She will need outdoor space for running and zooming. She will want a warm good sized inside space for wandering to wherever her person is. Myrtle is a loyal type of dog who will want to be near her people and not left alone for long periods. Do you have the space and the heart and the willingness to give this to Myrtle? If so, come to our shelter and meet Myrtle.
