My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco S, a goofy lady with a heart full of love! She enters every room with soft eyes, a wiggly body, and a big smile, ready to charm everyone she meets. Coco loves toys, treats, and playtime, often breaking out into a howl to say hello to her fellow canine friends.

This sweet gal is full of personality and enjoys a good cuddle session after an active playtime. While she can get a little mouthy when excited, she’s easily redirected with toys or treats, which she takes gently (though she might politely remind you to share more!).

Coco S is looking for a home that appreciates her quirky, lovable nature. If you’re ready for a playful and loyal companion, Coco S is your girl!

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Coco S at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering her.

Behavior notes:
11/20/24 volunteer notes: 11-20
Got out of crate very easily and walked pretty good. Did get fixated on other dogs and people but was able to be redirected. The second we got into the enclosure she went cuddled up to me to get pets. She was mostly interested in staying close to me and getting pet but when prompted did enjoy running around.

11/8/24 staff noted: Coco seems like she could have separation anxiety and is very stressed in her kennel. Some extra enrichment or time out of her kennel could benefit her greatly. She's so sweet but is clearly overwhelmed by the shelter environment, having lived with the same owner for 10 years.

11/8/24 staff noted: Coco is a sweet wiggly mama! Very affectionate with loose body and constantly soliciting attention. Allowed all handling, pulled slightly on leash. She gets very excited and can be a bit mouthy when giving kisses, might not be ideal with young children. Would do amazing with a single or senior owner. Owner stated she loves all people and has done well with other dogs
