Meet Chewbocka, a calm, laid-back girl with a sweet and gentle dispositon. This young pup loves to sniff and explore. She's got a soft, curious demeanor and enjoys taking things at her own pace.
Chewbocka walks calmly and enjoys a leisurely pace during walks, taking time to explore her surroundings. She has a gentle way about her, coming up to eat treats from your lap and taking them gently before wandering off to sniff around again.
Chewbocka would do best in a home where she can continue to be her independent, calm self with humans who respect her needs.

Day Trip Notes:
Chewbocka was very excited to be out of the kennel, and seemed right at home in nature. On her way out to the car from ACCT she sniffed and sniffed and sniffed, I have never seen a dog so excited to be smelling anything and everything. She barely pulls on the leash, mostly because she is too interested in sniffing to go too fast. When she got to the car, she put her front paws on the seat, but needed a little encouragement and a boost to get into the front seat passenger side (she seemed eager but a little unsure of what to do, maybe has not been in a car before or all that often?). She handled being picked up very well, did not seem to mind one bit. We took a 20 minute drive to Valley Forge, and she did great on the car ride, continuing to sniff out of the cracked windows, and bracing herself against my shoulder during turns. Once we were at the park, she continued to come out of her shell, showing off her green "adopt me" bandana and getting several compliments from passersby. As you can see from her pictures, one of her ears stands up and the other flaps down as she is surveying her surroundings. This was very cute and happened over and over again. She had loads of energy and enjoyed walking through the crunchy leaves, even taking off and sprinting at times. When we got to the creek, she walked right in, very comfortable with the water halfway up her body, and even lapping up some of the fresh water before she shook herself off. She certainly appears to be house-trained, as she took advantage of the outdoors to relieve herself (in both ways) several times, but had no accidents while in the car. She got a little jumpy on the leash, but who could blame her for being excited, it was such a beautiful fall day. Overall she had an excellent day and seems very at home in both the car and the outdoors.
