Chipper comes to us from a Kentucky shelter where she and her siblings were brought as puppies. Chipper spent two months of her life growing up there. She is learning a lot about the world and maturing into a great young lady! Her foster family is helping her be her best self.
Chipper lives with a family with two dogs, two kids, and a cat. Chipper is doing well with everyone. She is not mouthy at all with the kids, she does not ever annoy her older dog foster siblings since she is a bit more reserved with them, and she and the cat like to rub against each other!
She is still a pup and will need an adopter wiling to work on training, of course. Chipper is very smart and catches on quickly to routines!
Her foster mom writes, "Chipper is a very sweet girl. A gentle soul who is figuring out life one day at a time. She enjoys the company of people. She's come out of her shell a lot since she's been here. She quickly braved the stairs and is learning how to co-exist with our family which includes 2 small kids aged 2 and 6, 2 dogs aged 9 and 11 and a cat who is 6.
She does not enjoy being alone, so we do crate her when we are not home. She doesn't seem to settle, but a frozen Kong will help keep her busy for a bit.
Chipper is a very happy pup who enjoys cuddling and chilling but also enjoys a good run in the yard. She likes to fetch the ball though we are still working on her bringing it back each time.
She will make a family very happy."
Chipper's adoption fee is $250. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
