Meet Jazzy, a sweet and reserved cat with a heart full of love. At first, Jazzy may be a bit shy, taking her time to warm up to new faces, but once she does, she’s a bundle of affection.

While she keeps her cool demeanor, Jazzy absolutely adores attention and will happily flop down to demand more once you start petting her. Her soft purrs and gentle presence make her the perfect companion for those who appreciate a cat who loves to be showered with love — but on her own terms. Jazzy may be a little reserved, but her sweetness will win you over in no time!

The adoption fee for our pets range from $55-$225 depending on the species, breed, age, and other factors. We often have discounted adoption fees for pets that have been in the shelter for an extended period of time or have special needs. Check our website often!

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12-5. We are closed on Tuesday and Thursday.

Our shelter is a small rural shelter in south central Indiana. We are an open admission shelter and accept all of Brown County's homeless pets. Our current out alive rate is 98%!
