My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is such a playful people lover. When he meets you, he'll be excited and want to give you kisses. Then he'll always want to be near you, following you from room to room. He's a big fan of snuggling on the couch, too.

Peanut loves to snuggle in bed with his foster dad, sleeping through the night. Then he wakes up, goes for a walk, has some playtime and becomes a napping couch potato. Some days he spends time in a kennel and will come out with playful energy, going for another walk, playing fetch and tug-o-war and even going to play in the dog park.

This friendly, confident boy gets along great with his foster's two dogs, always wanting to play with them. He also wants to play with the cat, who would rather not. His foster believes he'll do well in a home with big adult dogs who can match his playful energy. And he may do well with an equally playful kitty.

Peanut leash walks well, just pulling a bit if he wants to say hello to a dog or person he sees. At home, he's very food motivated, so is obeying commands when he sees treats. He understands "sit and "wait and will wait to eat until he hears "go ahead. He also does well in his crate, going right in when he hears "kennel and doing well there when his foster is away from home. And he is house-trained.

Peanut will love a home with parents who work there and are with him all day. But he will do well left alone in his kennel while they're away at work or on errands. Come meet this snuggly boy!
