Meet Newport! This little fella was born in our care when we rescued more than 100 rabbits from an overwhelmed caregiver a few months ago. Newport grew up with his siblings and mom in a foster home and has learned perfect bunny manners! This guy loves to be pet and actually seeks out affection from his human friends. He enjoys hopping around, lounging about and has been known to give kisses as well! He would make some-bunny very happy! Come meet him today!

Fill out a Meet Your Match questionnaire, spend some time getting to know the pet you are considering taking home, and talk to an adoption counselor.
Each animal will leave the Center spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm (dogs) or FeLV/FIV (cats) tested, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, given heartworm preventative if applicable and microchipped.

McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, TN, first opened its doors to the city’s homeless pets in July 2008. A leader in animal welfare both locally and nationally, the nonprofit shelter’s mission is to enhance the lives of companion animals and people by encouraging a culture of responsibility and compassion. As an open admission facility, the Center provides animal services and care for any animal in the city of Chattanooga regardless of age, breed, health, and temperament. McKamey has a number of thriving programs to benefit companion animals and people including adoption, foster, rescue, trap-neuter-return for feral cats, and humane education.
