This stunning two-year-old shepherd is a handsome as they come! Not only is a beautiful boy, all 102 pounds of him wants to be your new best friend!
Sadly, Scooby was surrendered to us due to his owner having medical issues and being unable to care for him any longer. He is understandably confused and sad, but in spite of him losing his family, he maintains his optimism of finding his true FOREVER family.
You can't help but want to spend your time with this lovable boy! Not only does he have a gentle kindness about him, he aims to please. Scooby knows several commands including "sit, off, down, wait, look at me, and come". As if that weren't impressive enough, he is house-trained and crate-trained! Scooby loves to spend time outside and will need a fenced-in yard to explore at his leisure. His new family will need to keep him exercised and engaged daily!
This social stud has spent time around other dogs and loves to run the fence with his fellow friends at the kennel. While at his last home, he spent time with children as well. He has a kind demeanor and tends to be on the submissive side. Looking for a copilot? Scooby loves car rides and will be happy to hit the road with you for your next adventure!
Based on our evaluation, Scooby would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. We feel Scooby has the potential to live in a home with other dogs as he does very well with them here at the kennel. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
Let's show him the best is yet to come! Head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and complete an application for our sensational Scooby!
