My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cookie! This sweet and energetic girl was found on the side of the highway, still in shock from an injury that turned out to be a broken toe! Since then, she has blossomed into a playful and loving companion. Cookie is full of energy and loves to chase squirrels, play with other dogs, and chew on her favorite bones. She may be a little excited around cats and enjoys giving them a playful chase, but she’s never malicious.

Though she hasn’t met any kids yet, Cookie does have a tendency to get a bit excited, so a household with older kids or adults who can handle her energy would be ideal. She’s doing well with house training but needs regular breaks to keep things on track.

Cookie loves to move shoes around (but doesn’t chew them—promise!), and a fenced-in yard would be her dream come true as she adores running and playing freely. She’s loving, smart, and ready to find her forever home where she can keep being the joyful and playful dog she’s become. Could you be the one to give her that chance?

If you’re looking for a dog who’ll keep you on your toes and fill your home with love, Cookie might just be the perfect fit!

***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
