My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penelope!
Penelope is super sweet, playful, and loving. She has to be where her people are and would choose to even sleep with her people (if her new family is willing). She's a bit of a "velcro dog. She is crate-trained and is fine to be crated when her people need to go out somewhere, but is not a fan of being in it when people are home (again...Penelope just wants to stay close to her people). She is fully house-broken but is still working on her leash manners. She may have never been on a leash before coming to us, so she just needs some practice and patience to catch on to what it's all about. Penelope is a chewer, luckily as long as she has plenty of fun doggy chew toys around, she sticks to those-so stock up now! She gets along with dogs of all sizes. So far she seems to prefer the company of women, but is warming up to her foster dad as well. She just needs a patient home to give her time and encouragement to settle in and feel safe with new people and a new place.
