Hi! My name is Athens, and I am looking for a family that loves ALL the puppy snuggles as you look into my gorgeous eyes! I enjoy playing with my sisters, but I really love it when my foster family pets or holds me. Don't tell my foster dad, but I slept on the bed once and it was awesome! I've also started learning big boy tricks like sleeping through the night, keeping my crate clean/dry, and pottying outside, and I can't wait to learn more. Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Application and more info may be found at: peaklabrescue.com/adopt. Please allow 24 hours for your application to be reviewed.

2.
Meet the Pet

If approved, you will be given the foster's contact info. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. You must come to Apex, NC (near Raleigh) to meet in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it's a match you can take your dog home that day. Our Adoption Fee is $325 and you must complete and sign our Adoption Agreement.

4.
Take the Pet Home

If you return the dog within 7 days of adoption you may receive a refund of $275. A $75 administrative fee is required to cover our costs.

Additional adoption info

You will receive the dog's Vet records via email 7-10 days after adoption. You will receive the dog's microchip info and rabies tag (if appropriate) via USPS about 2 weeks after adoption.

Peak Lab Rescue is the largest foster-based dog rescue in North Carolina. We do not have a facility, all of our dogs live in homes where they can learn the skills to be successful family members.

Our Mission is to end dog homelessness in North Carolina. We save Lab Mixes and other dogs from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and high-kill shelters.
