My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**SPECIAL NEEDS/BLIND**

Sparrow is a large, gentle, and affectionate lad who enjoys being brushed and pet-but who needs time to feel comfortable with new spaces and people. As a blind cat, he relies heavily on his nose and sense of hearing to get around and feels safest when he has dedicated spots to perch and hide. With people, he leans into pets, appreciates people who don't touch his face, and will happily sit for hours while you brush his luxurious coat. Sparrow lives with a large/potato dog, adult cats, and adult humans. He can be adopted to a home with a friend from our program-or as a solo pet to a caretaker who will spend time helping him adjust. My previous home had a wonderful older person who would sit with me for hours and kept a quiet home-maybe I can retire with you next?

Additional adoption info

We pride ourselves on a perfect match and pay close attention to the cats personality before sending it home. We have a thorough match survey and provide an open door policy just in case. We typically do not answer general inquiries without an application.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We provide private in home fostering and do not allow visitors at our homes with an approved application, interview, and confirmed appointment made by the CEO.

We partner with our local, family owned businesses and events, but a majority of our adoptions are done from the comfort of your home.

More about this rescue

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
