My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to one our newest furry feline friend, Rango!
Rango came to AHS in August 2024 as a stray and is still a pretty shy guy. Rango would love to find a quiet home that can allow him to come out of his shell at his own pace.
Rango loves the company of other cats but does prefer the company of people a little bit less. He is very fearful and nervous when meeting people and would prefer less human interaction them some of our other snuggly kitties. Rango may do well as an indoor/outdoor or even as a barn cat with the proper introduction.
Rango does gain a bit of confidence in the company of other cats and has even expressed interest in our cattery's cat trees! He loves stretching up and clawing the scratching posts when a kitty pal is sitting on an upper level. Having a cat in his forever home may boost Rango's confidence and help him adjust to living in a home environment. We would not recommend Rango in a home with young children at this time as he is still fairly skittish and hissy.
If you have patience and some extra love to give then be sure to stop by and visit with Rango today!

Rango is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
