Glinda is an 8-year-old chihuahua with a big personality in a tiny, 8-pound package. A true couch potato at heart, she's happiest lounging around and enjoys the comfort of her crate for naps. Glinda is sweet, house-trained, and absolutely loves belly rubs - the more, the better! While she gets along fine with other dogs, she's not much of a player, preferring a laid-back lifestyle. She's the perfect companion for anyone looking for a low-energy, affectionate pup to cuddle and keep them company.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
