Adam James is a friendly and affectionate 2-year-old Beagle mix weighing around 31 lbs. He is house-trained and crate-trained, a social butterfly who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He's still getting adjusted to the city, but he's a smart boy so will make progress in now time! While he has a good amount of energy, he's always ready for cuddles and playtime. Whether he's exploring the outdoors or relaxing with his favorite humans, Adam brings warmth and joy wherever he goes!

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
