My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Karen (kdhegarty@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

Wednesday was part of our 'No Black Cat Left Behind' initiative that took place in October. Upon intake, we noticed that Wednesday had a limp. She was examined by a vet and it was discovered that she had a broken pelvis. We have no way of knowing what exactly happened to cause the injury but it certainly has not affected her friendliness with humans. She is a very sweet kitten who purrs instantly when petted. Wednesday loves her wet food and to play with the ball tower at her foster home. She likes being around other cats and would probably do fine with dogs but she hasn't been around them yet.

Wednesday has been spayed, she has tested Negative for FIV & Feline Leukemia, has been dewormed and treated for fleas, has been microchipped.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
