My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cara, a sweet 4-5 year old, gorgeous brindle girl, a total 'love bug' that knows basic commands, who really is her name defined: friend, loving, dear one, darling, and beloved.

Cara asked us to share the following with you:

'...I know it is surprising that someone like me, well-mannered and knowing basic commands, was found as a stray and no one came to get me. Don't feel sad for a minute. I am a 'glass overflowing' gal. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and my FURever family will find me through this bio. I know it. I feel it in my perfect brindle body.

No one wants to brag but I LOVE MY HUMANZ. I never met one I didn't love. Due to the language barrier and the fact that I cannot speak English YET, they aren't sure how I would do in a house with other dogs, but I do seem dog friendly here with the dogs I have met. Cats, well, while they are 'cute,' they are not my thing. I find their slick and quick movements to be a little 'much' for me.

I love walking. I love smelling grass. I love relaxing and love nothing more than cuddling up to you and listening to your heartbeat. I am adventurous yet love a lazy Sunday. I am active yet love snoring contests. I love treats and I am eager to please & learn. I love squeaky toys and I love water!

Like most humans, I love to hear myself talk/bark, let's just combine the words to create a new word 'tark.' I love tarking in the car. Put on your favorite tune and we can tark together. My vocals have been compared to the legendary Janis Joplin. I have a 'horse' tark so it is sweet and cute. I don't try to be cute, but it does come naturally for me.

Again, I am not trying to be conceited but I need you to be able to get the full picture here, I have been called a 'volunteer favorite (don't tell the others on my block),' have EARS for YEARS, the cutest brindle butt (whatever that means), and eyes that will melt your soul.

I am ready to find my FURever family and love them more than they knew possible. If you are interested meeting or adopting the (perfect) me, please go to our website: www.crcpa.org. Unconditionally yours, Cara...'
