My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cara, a sweet and affectionate 5 year-old brindle girl whos as charming as she is loving. This beauty knows her basic commands and is ready to show you just how wonderful life can be with her by your side.

Cara would like to tell you a little about herself:

'Okay, Ill admit itit's a bit surprising that someone like me, friendly, well-mannered, and full of love, was found as a stray. But dont feel bad for me! Im a glass-half-full kind of girl and totally believe everything happens for a reason. I just know my forever family is out there, reading this right now. I can feel it in my perfect brindle bones!

Humans are my absolute favorite. I adore meeting new people and getting all the love and attention I can. I have made a couple dog friends here, but I would really be my happiest self if I could be your one and only. And cats? Theyre not really my thing. I find their quick, sneaky movements a little too much for me.

Im a huge fan of walksespecially when I get to sniff all the grass and enjoy the fresh air. But Im also a big snuggler who loves nothing more than curling up next to you and relaxing. Im the perfect balance of active and laid-back: Ill happily go on an adventure, but I also love a good snoring contest on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Im treat-motivated and eager to please, so Ill be your best student when it comes to learning new things. I adore squeaky toys, and water? Oh, I love that too! And, lets not forgetIm also a fan of playing dress-up. Im just a well-rounded girl whos ready for anything.

Ill admit, when I get excited, I do like to bark a bit. But dont worry, I promise Im not trying to start a concert. My barks are more like little excited announcements to say, 'Hey, Im here and happy to be with you!' And the volunteers say I do settle down easily.

A little humble brag: Im a volunteer favorite (dont tell the others!) with ears that people cant stop talking about, a brindle butt thats just too cute for words, and eyes that will melt your heart. If youre looking for a loving companion with a great personality, Im the one for you!'

I am ready to find my FURever family and love them more than they knew possible. If you are interested meeting or adopting the (perfect) me, please go to our website: www.crcpa.org. Unconditionally yours, Cara...'
