My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benjamin, aka Benny, is a darling! This adorable little Chihuahua mix is 2 years old and weighs 11 lbs, most of which is pure love with a pair of adorable eyes that look straight into you. Benny makes friends with everyone he meets, and a few minutes after meeting you for the first time he will be on your lap (if this is what you want, but he isn't at all obnoxious and knows when you say no). He is good with dogs and humans, big and small, as well as cats.

Benny walks great on a leash, he is housetrained and very well crate trained - he stays there without a sound, if needed, even though his house manners are so good he really doesn't need to be crated much, other than when he needs some rest.

Benny is heartworm positive, so until his treatment is over this acceptance of the crate will come in very handy. Speaking of heartworm: he was diagnosed with Stage 1, meaning there is very little or no impact to his heart and lungs and which will ensure his full recovery. Angels Among Us will cover the full course of treatment and would be happy to provide detailed information about the treatment process.

Benny will be a great companion for a single person or a family pet: he is so smart and attentive, one doesn't feel unnatural talking to him - we think he understands Human! He isn't fussy about his food, either, and is very food motivated, so he can be easily trained.
