Meet Thumbelina, being fostered in East Hartford. She is an 8-week-old, TEACUP Maltese mix weighing 2.6lbs she won't get much bigger than 6lbs so looking for someone who has experience with tiny dogs. This little one is fearless yet playful, curious and very sweet.

The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $595.00. This includes Spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, Bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.

Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $75.00)

We accept unwanted or abandoned animals, provide them with veterinary checks, spaying/neutering, and ensure they are up to date on all vaccinations. We focus on socializing pets before finding them new homes.
