Meet Haeri! A 10 month old Jindo mix girl weighing 10.3 kg, who is looking for her forever home ❤️.
Haeri loves playing with other dogs and making new friends! She gets along with any dog she meets. Haeri is also great with people! She will greet new people with a kind sniff, and once she gets to know you she will come to you for pets and will over her belly for a good belly rub. But she would rather not be carried or hugged. She is good with men and women, but her current favourite human is her foster dad 🥰. She is gentle with children as well. She is untested with cats, but should be okay as she is not aggressive and does not have much of a prey drive. Overall, Haeri prefers being with other dogs more than anything else!
Haeri has a medium energy level, she loves playing with other dogs and going on walks but is very chill and relaxed at home. She walks well on leash, but sometimes gets spooked by a car honking. She is potty trained outdoors and on pee pads. Her foster family is working on her crate training, but she does not like being confined in small spaces. Haeri is not much of a barker, has no resource guarding, and does not chew or destroy anything in the home, but she does love playing with her stuffy toys!
Haeri was found on the street and sent to a kill shelter, she was on the euthanasia list 💔.

More about this rescue
Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.
We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.
