HI - I'M PENNY! I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter on my last day and now am safe! The experience was a scary one for me, but I'm finally now coming out of my shell. I will make a great companion for an active single person, a couple or a family with older kids. We have an extensive application and spend time with potential applicants to make sure we match people with the right dogs. We also have a 100% return policy as we understand sometimes adoptions just do not work out.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. is an active 501(c)(3) animal rescue based in Ventura, Calif. We rescue dogs and cats primarily from overcrowded California shelters, and do our best to find wonderful homes for them. We also take in many owner surrenders every year. We adopt dogs to people in many states, and have a high success rate with our adoptions. We do our best to match people with the right dogs.
