My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

POLITA - Lab Mix / 3 Years / 24kg / F-Spayed

Polita peeps! Where are you? This girl is ready to start anew!

She was first adopted in late December 2022. When she left us, she was sweet, petite, full of love and really an incredible dog. After spending about a year and a half with her "family", her spirit was broken. She was undirected, confused, in love with them while being neglected and abandoned. (Can we say "shitheads" in a dog bio???) It's no wonder her heart was broken and she was confused.

Since being back with DIBS since the summer, she has become our little miracle. She has turned a corner, and she can now love confidently (vs being riddled with insecurity), she loves her exercise and walks, and she is just a really really good girl. And....she is stunning.

Her wishlist: people who are around a lot, a canine pal in the home, humans that understand the importance of routine and boundaries, and a chill home.

If you are interested in resilient superstar Polita, do apply at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. Please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
