Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Scruffy
This handsome little terrier mix is incredibly adorable. Scruffy is just a year old. He is small in stature (just 16 lbs.) and big in personality. Scruffy loves life and makes everyone feel good with his happy personality and outgoing ways.
Scruffy loves going for walks and walks easily on a leash. He’s a confident young pup. He loves attention. Scruffy’s life was uncertain before coming to us. He’s not letting his past get him down and instead embraces what’s ahead and just wants to get started. Scruffy may need some house training, but he’s a smart little guy and with patience and consistency, he’ll learn. Scruffy’s big brown eyes just melt your heart. Scruffy loves people and dogs and we’ll test for cats. If looking for your constant companion and best friend, Scruffy is as cute as they come. We so hope that Scruffy finds his pawsome home soon. This little guy deserves to be with his best person and forever loved.
If interested in Scruffy, please submit an application online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don’t receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals.
Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
