My name is Penguin. I lived outside until the day a coyote tried to eat me by biting my neck, but I got away was found by my foster parents. They took me to a doctor and now I just have a really cool scar, a great story to go with it, and I love to get scratches there now. Talk about a silver lining! Most of the time, I love to sit in people's laps and just snuggle and purr. When I'm not doing that, I have a lot of energy for play and have so much fun running around, chasing after feathers and whatever toys I have. I get excited to play with other cats and dogs, but they usually need a moment to get to know me before they let me play with them. When I get put in a kennel to go find my forever home, I get pretty nervous and just want to lay down and wait for someone to say hi and pet me. All fosters under the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition: Community Cat Adoption Program are fostered privately through foster homes.  They are spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped before adoptions are finalized.  SAFCC is a 501c3 non profit, all volunteer organization serving San Antonio and Bexar County, Texas.
