My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Brandy! Here is a little info about me:

Breed: Jindo mix
Age: 7 months
Gender: Fmale
Weight: 26 lb      Height: 15"
Highlight(s): Affectionate, cheerful and friendly

My journey started a little rough—I was found as a stray, and things could have gone badly if some amazing humans hadn’t stepped in to rescue me. Now, I’m ready to meet a loving family who will let me shine!

I might be a little shy at first, but treats are the way to my heart. With a bit of patience, my sweet side comes out, and I’ll happily roll over for belly rubs! Once I feel comfortable, I can’t help but show my cheerful, energetic personality. I just want to make you smile.

I really love being around kids! My first foster home had two young humans under 13, and we got along great. Dogs of all sizes are my favorite, too—I love meeting new furry friends and always invite them to play. I’ve even met cats, and I was very gentle with them.

I’m still in my puppy stage, so I have lots of energy! Exploring on walks is a blast, and I can’t help but sniff everything I see. Running around makes me so happy, and toys are just the best! I don’t mind sharing toys either; I’ll let another dog chew on one side while I chew on the other.

Manners are important to me—I don’t have any issues with aggression, resource guarding, or anxiety. Barking is rare for me, though I might whine if I want something. I’m also crate-trained and nearly fully house-trained. Sometimes, I have a little excitement pee when things get really thrilling! But don’t worry—most puppies grow out of this as they get older. Car rides are a breeze, too—I don’t get carsick, so I’d love to join you on trips.

If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate buddy, I’m here and ready to bring lots of love and happiness to your home. Can’t wait to meet you!

I get along with:
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Yes
Kids: Yes (no video proof)

Health notes: I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped

No aggressive behaviours or resource gaurding noted.

My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.

Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.

Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.

More about this rescue

Loved At Last Dog Rescue operates in the Greater Vancouver area. We rescue and rehome local dogs as well as homeless dogs from numerous countries around the world, including Mexico, Korea, China, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain and India. Many of these dogs have experienced hardship and cruelty yet they are gentle and loving. We have found that dogs who have experienced suffering appreciate every kindness shown them. All our dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped and those over 6 months are spayed or neutered.
