Hello, my name is Russell and here is a little info about me:

Russell was rescued from a hoarding house in California and ended up in a high kill shelter near LA. He was running out of time when he finally got adopted. Just when Russell thought he is saved sadly got picked up again by animal control staff with reports of being mistreated in his adopter's home. Poor Russell ended up in the same shelter for the second time! When we heard his story we rushed to get him out of the shelter, so he will never be mistreated again. Thankfully his shelters days are behind him.
Russell is a complete sweetheart. His foster mom can't stop saying wonderful thing about him. He is working on his potty training skills and he is good on the leash. Russell is playful, but loves snuggling and giving kisss. He loves company of other dogs but he will do fine as an only dog too. He is small enough to travel with you in cabin on your flight or come shopping with you in a little bag.
Russell is a tiny and handsome boy, charming and happy. He gets along well with kids, people, other dogs. He enjoys playing with other dogs, going for walks or cuddling. His energy level is moderate, after play time in the yard or a walk he prefers to relax. He is a loving and friendly little guy that is looking for his forever home. Please adopt him and give him the love that he deserves so much.

Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.
