Introducing Gwen, a gentle 7-year-old, 17lb Miniature Schnauzer in search of her forever home!
Gwen's life took a difficult turn when her previous owner passed away. Sadly, the only family she has lives in California and couldn't take her in. As a result, Gwen found herself in an overcrowded shelter, feeling scared and confused. This sweet girl is longing for the comfort of a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved once again.
Gwen thrives in calm environments and would do best with older children, as she is accustomed to a quieter lifestyle. She has shown to be good with other dogs that have similar calm personalities. She recently met a cat and had no issues, proving she has a gentle disposition!
Gwen walks well on a leash and enjoys her strolls, but she’s not a dog who likes to be tethered. She also rides perfectly in the car, making her a great companion for outings!
This quiet girl has a heart full of love to give, and she truly deserves a wonderful home where she can relax and be pampered. With a little patience and affection, Gwen will shine in her new family!

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
