My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shaggy is a 3(ish) year old Shih Tzu. Shaggy ended up in a high kill shelter in Texas a few weeks back. He was dirty and matted at the time. It's hard to know if he ever truly had a family of his own, or what his story is, just like so many. Shaggy has now been in CO for a couple weeks. He has been groomed, fully vetted, and is ready to find his forever family.

Shaggy is a good boy. He gets along great with other dogs, does well with kids, and does well with cats. He is friendly and easy going. He will need someone who is going to be be willing to get him groomed every few months to keep him looking handsome and adorable. Shaggy has been through a lot in his short life so far and just wants a fammily of his very own who will love him unconditionally, like he loves them.

Our adoption fee is usually $395.00 - $445.00. There are special cases such as older dogs, where the adoption fee will be reduced. We do require that all adopters sign a contract. All dogs must be fixed before adoption!
