Tom Tom : a perfect orange male tabby. I guess he is about 4 yrs old(???) Showed up at my house along with three other siblings. All were very feral but I was working on befriending them all when he disappeared and I didn’t see him for about three weeks. I thought maybe he had moved on but then one evening as my husband was feeding he heard a cat calling out for help! He sent me a text as I was driving home from D.C. and asked if this is one of mine….. it was Tom Tom!!!
His paw was all mangled and black! He let my husband pick him up and crate him. ( That had never happened before.) He was starving and dehydrated. But I got him to the vet the next morning. The paw was necrotic and the leg had to go! Vet speculates that he was caught in a drop trap and it killed the circulation in his paw. When it was released he ran home.
So … he did great … we cut a litter box so he could just walk through. He was a champ! Healed quickly! Gets along great with other cats but he is very timid. He is quite the chatterbox. So be prepared to have a conversation as soon as you feet hit the floor in the morning and he will tell you if his food bowl needs to be moved! His voice is so gentle.
He hugs your neck with his only front paw and likes to place his head near your neck. Gives great nose boops! Sweet disposition. Not sure about dogs but I would think he would need time to just figure things out. But when he does those big eyes just melt your heart!
