Meet Willa!
9 Month-Old Catahoula mix | Adventurous, Affectionate, & Full of Personality
Willa is a playful, affectionate & smart 9 month-old Catahoula mix looking for a forever home. She weighs about 45 pounds and seems to be full grown. She has been in a loving environment where she has been well-cared for and is now ready to bring joy and adventure into a new family’s life!
About Willa:
Crate Trained: Willa is quiet and calm when crated for about 6 hours during the day and 7 hours at night.
Leash Walking: Willa enjoys walking at the park and walks at the pace of her walker. She does not pull and focuses on who is walking her. She loves the exercise and being outdoors.
Housetrained: Willa only uses the restroom outside, she is reliable about holding it inside and in her crate. She waits until she is outside to go potty.
Social & Friendly: Willa LOVES her people! Especially whoever has worked on training with her. She has grown up in a house with a 2 year old and newborn and is very gentle with them. She loves being wherever her people are!
Car Rides & Water Fun: Willa does not love the car yet but sits in one spot and is quiet the whole car ride. She seems less scared in the back seat and it’s improving over time. She does love playing in the sprinklers in the yard!
Training: Willa is so smart and learns so quickly! She knows how to sit and lay down and learned leash walking in just one day. If there are treats involved she will try to learn anything!
Personality: Playful, curious, loving, and smart. Willa loves to be with her people.
She is food-motivated, confident, and extremely loving. She loves to play then cuddle and sleep. Her perfect home would be as the only dog or with a dog that is very unreactive.
If you’re looking for an adventurous, loving companion who is ready for anything as long as she is with you, Willa might be the perfect match for you!
