Hi, my name is Merlin! I had a loving home with my housemate Sushi until our mom passed away. I was unsure when I first came to foster, but eventually, I figured out that I was safe, so now I am completely comfortable and I love to play. I get along with my brother Sushi from the same home, but I do not like other cats. Please consider adopting me by myself or with my best buddy Sushi!

Merlin is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125 or $200 as a pair with Sushi. Do you have room in your heart and home for this handsome boy?

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
