My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershel is a cute male kitten who arrived at the HSOV on August 20, 2024 after he was found on Walnut Street in Belpre Ohio along with his mother (Maggie). Hershel was a tiny 2-month old baby at that time.

This little playboy has a gray short smooth coat, a long tail with a white tip on the end, and an adorable chubby face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long gray whiskers.

Hershel was given vaccinations and wormer on August 20, 2024. He weighed 2.1 that day. Hershel was given booster vaccines on September 3, 2024.

Hershel has a super-friendly outgoing personality and loves attention.

These 'big boy' photos of Hershel were taken on November 2, 2024 when we spent time with him in our 'studio'. Hershel pussyfooted around for awhile to check out the Fall foliage and pumpkins and then decided the blanket-lined wicker basket was his favorite place to pose for pictures.

Hershel weighed 6.05 lbs when he stepped on the scales after his photo session, so he may be a rather large kitty when he reaches maturity.

Hershel has an approved adoption pending as of November 8, 2024. He will be neutered (tentatively in mid-December 2024) before being adopted by his new family.
