Say hello to Kermit! Kermit is an approximately four-and-a-half-year-old Chihuahua mix (heavy on the mix), weighing approximately 22 pounds. Kermit was taken in by HARTT when a volunteer found him tied to a tree outside. Chi Town Rescue works in partnership with HARTT at times, and agreed to take in Kermit to help him find his forever family. Kermit is a sweet guy with a bit of a shy side. He takes just a bit to warm up, but will soon be hopping in your lap for pets and love. Kermit enjoys the company of the other dogs in his play group and will happily trot around the yard and socialize. He isn't leash trained yet, but would love to work on those skills with his forever family. We don't know anything of Kermit's past and we are still getting to know him in the present, as he has only been with us about one week. One thing we DO know though, is that Kermit's future is going to be wonderful, once he finds his forever home!
