Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Location: Troy, MO
Leisl is a happy puppy with a lot to say. She can be shy when you first meet her but warms up quickly.
Leisl is very playful and likes to play with the other dogs, even if they don't want to play. She loves toys and playing tag with the other foster puppies. When she is excited she barks, which may not make her ideal for an apartment/condo.
Leisl came from a puppy mill and was a puppy that the breeder could not sell. She is learning about freedom and being in a home. She would enjoy a playful dog to play with in her new home. She enjoys being brushed and getting loved on. She is going to need frequent brushing and grooming.
Leisl's adoption is $500. She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and on monthly heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!

We are a volunteer ran rescue and all of our dogs are in foster homes. We focus on puppy mill dogs and senior dogs at animal control or owner surrenders. We ensure all dogs have been completely vetted before going to their new home.
