Sweet Magnolia was rescued by our friends at Hope For Paws and we have teamed up with them to help find her a forever home. Magnolia is about 1-2 years old, weighs 15 pounds and is very sweet. We believe she is a Maltipoo and is low to non-shedding. She is good with other dogs, great with people and likes cats but will also chase a bit but is only curious and just wants to smell them. She does have some separation anxiety so she would do best with someone who is not gone long hours or works from home and has time for her. A condo/apartment would not be a good situation as she does bark a little when left alone and another younger dog in the home would be great as she loves to play. Magnolia is mostly housebroken but does have occasional accidents and she does best when on a schedule. The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption application on our main website prior to coming to meet the animal(s) you are interested in. The application can be found at www.smoochpoochrescue.com and will give us an idea if the animal will be a good match for you, your family and lifestyle. We also require an adoption contract, adoption fee and home visit. We DO NOT operate on a first come basis but rather the best suited home for our animals.

We are NOT a shelter, we are a small private non-profit animal rescue organization run by volunteers. We do not have an actual facility and we do not have operating hours. All of our dogs are in foster homes until their forever homes are found. We show our dogs by appointment but you must first complete an adoption application on our website. We make an effort to place our dogs in the best matched home rather than a first come basis.

We are a non-profit animal rescue organization. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters, many of them the day they are to be euthanized and give them a second chance at life. We also rescue stray dogs and abandoned animals and find loving homes for them.
