Shadow is a black and white border collie mix whose estimated DOB is 4/1/2023. He is so soft and friendly and enjoys being petted and loved. Shadow is playful and will fetch a ball, and sometimes even give it back to you! LOL! He doesn't know a lot of tricks, but he learned sit very quickly and because he loved the engagement and learning, he tried really hard to get it right! Shadow is a good, smart boy! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
