Brent is a black and white Heeler/Border Collie mix whose estimated DOB is 2/17/2016 and on 10/11/2024 he weighed in at 48 pounds. He is a friendly boy and well behaved. He does well with cats and with other dogs, and he loves people. Brent is much more motivated by pets and love than by treats. He's a little playful and a lot cuddly! His fur is so soft, you will love petting him as much as he loves being petted! He's gentle and sweet and would love a lap upon which to lay his head. Brent has been at the shelter way too long, and we don't know why because he is a perfect fit for most any person or family. Come meet Brent today and see for yourself how awesome he is!
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
